what you need
- 1 cup hot filtered water
- 1/2 cup hot unsweetened almond, cow or oat milk
- 2 tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp marine or bovine collagen
- 1 tsp coconut sugar or xylitol
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
- Dash cinnamon
- Small pinch turmeric
- Tiny pinch black pepper (helps activate turmeric)
what to do
- Place the cacao, collagen, sugar, honey and spices in a cup and slowly add the hot water then hot milk, whisking as you go (either using a fork or small whisk) to fully dissolve powders.
- Pour into cup and serve immediately.
- Alternatively, you can place all ingredients into a glass blender or Thermomix and blend on high speed for 15 seconds until frothy.
