Turmeric Spiced Mango & Coconut Thick Shake with Mushroom Immunity

This thick and creamy tropical thick shake is the perfect balance of flavour and fun with an anti-inflammatory kick to offset all those Christmas party cocktails. If you choose to use fresh mango for this recipe, simply chop mango into chunks and freeze overnight. For an extra nutrient boost, we’ve included a serve of Teelixir Mushroom Immunity powder known to activate the immune system, strengthen the nervous system, balance hormones and reduce stress.

what you need

2.5 cups of frozen mango
1 cup vanilla coconut yoghurt (We used Coyo)
1 tsp turmeric powder (we used Pure Food Essentials Organic Turmeric Powder)
3/4 cup coconut milk
2 tsp honey or maple syrup or 2 scoops stevia powder (optional)
1 banana, frozen
1 tsp cinnamon powder (we used Pure Food Essentials Organic Cinnamon Powder)
1 tsp Teelixir Mushroom Immunity powder
Pinch black pepper (for boosting absorption of curcumin)
Extra cinnamon and turmeric powder to decorate
Coconut flakes to decorate

what to do

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
Blend together until smooth and creamy with no visible chunks.
Serve in tall glasses and sprinkle cinnamon and turmeric powder on top and decorate with coconut flakes.
