Roasted Carob Hazelnut Snack Balls

what you need

100g hazelnuts, roasted 
2 tbsp coconut flour
1 tbsp roasted carob powder
30g coconut oil
5 medjool dates, pitted
1 tsp vanilla essence

Optional extras: chopped hazelnuts, roasted carob powder, desiccated coconut

what to do

Add roasted hazelnuts to a high speed food processor, process the nuts at the highest speed until they are a meal texture. This should only take a  few seconds.

Add the remaining ingredients (except for the optional extras) to the food processor, process until fully combined and sticky enough to roll into balls.

Using a teaspoon sized amount, roll into balls and then roll to cover in, either, the carob powder, coconut and chopped hazelnuts.

Place in the refrigerator to set for a few hours. Will keep in the refrigerator for a week…… if they last that long!
