what you need (makes 8-10 bars)

  • 1 cup roughly chopped fresh turmeric
  • 1 3-inch piece of fresh ginger, chopped
  • 4 cups coconut water (or filtered water)
  • 1 lemon juiced (about 3-4 Tbs)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 3 Tbs raw honey
  • Optional: 1 Tbs tamarind paste

what to do

  1. Add the turmeric, ginger and coconut water to a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds.
  2. Transfer to a pot and bring to boil. Turn down to simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Strain through a sieve or cheesecloth then add honey, pepper, lemon and optional tamarind paste.
  4. Once cooled, transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge.
  5. Take a shot of this golden goodness each day for optimal wellness.
