This honey complies with the very stringent "NASAA" organic guidelines which are accepted internationally by I.F.O.A.M. It is produced on Kangaroo Island by the Cohen family from "Naturally KI". Their apiaries are located on the South West of Kangaroo Island adjacent to the pristine Flinders Chase National Park and the great clean Southern Ocean which ensures the honey is clean from industrial and human pollution. So what you taste is nature's own blend. In the honey production, the hives are not painted, but dipped in beeswax and remain permanently among the ever flowering native bush of Kangaroo Island. The raw honey is extracted cold and lightly strained to protect the natural flavour and nutrients, this may cause the honey to crystallise and harden. Warm gently (40°C max) to liquidfy. This honey has been collected for you by the only strain of Pure Ligurian bees left in the world. The gentle nature Ligurian bee population on KI is free from any disease which make it possible to produce this sweet healthy honey free of any antibiotics and other chemicals. Stringent laboratory testing guarantee it to be free from all harmful chemical residues and heavy metals.
